The Basecamp combines the classic Shortwall design and 9x11.5 floorplan, with higher sidewalls, ridge pole, and door. This is ideal for taller campers or those that want more space for cots and drying gear from the ridgepole. The taller sidewalls also allow more upright sitting room on wannigans or folding chairs, for added comfort while tending the stove, cooking, or just relaxing after a long day.

Overall it provides great interior space and headroom in a medium-sized and easily packable tent.
